ACH collects only what it needs to run your group's records during this supervised pilot. This page describes what the platform actually does today.
In short
- We collect the details you give us: your name, email, phone, group information and the records your group creates in ACH.
- We do not collect bank details, card details or payment credentials — ACH does not process payments.
- Group records are visible to your group and to ACH administrators supporting the pilot.
- You can ask us to correct your details or to remove your account from the pilot.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address and phone number where you provide it.
- Group application details: group name, savings model, location, size, contribution frequency, how you keep records today and the challenges you describe.
- Group activity: memberships and roles, savings cycles and slots, contribution periods and obligations, member declarations and coordinator verifications.
- Accountability records: audit events (who did what, and when) and your acceptance of these terms.
- Pilot feedback you choose to send us.
What we do not collect
- No bank account numbers, card numbers or payment credentials — ACH does not receive, hold or move money.
- No documents for identity verification today. If ACH introduces identity verification later, you will be told what is required before you provide anything.
Why we use it
- To create and run your account and your group's records on ACH.
- To let coordinators administer their group and members see their own participation.
- To keep an accurate history of group activity for accountability.
- To operate, support and improve the supervised pilot.
Who can see it
- You can always see your own profile, participation and records.
- Your coordinator can see the group information needed to administer the group.
- Other members see limited group directory information — not each other's contact details.
- ACH administrators supporting the pilot can access records where necessary to run, support and safeguard the platform.
- We may share information where we are lawfully required to do so.
Storage, retention and your choices
- Data is stored in ACH's managed cloud database with access controls that restrict records to your group and role.
- Group and audit records are kept while the pilot runs so history stays accurate; acceptance records are kept as history and are not edited or deleted.
- You can ask us to correct your details, or to close your account and remove you from the pilot, by contacting ACH.
Last updated: 31 August 2026 · Terms version: ACH-P-1.0
ACH may update these terms and ask you to accept a materially updated version. Acceptances you have already made are kept as history.
