ACH — Africa Community Hub

About ACH

Community first. Technology second.

ACH — Africa Community Hub — is a digital platform for community savings, building infrastructure that helps Ajo, Esusu, Thrift, ROSCAs, cooperative savings communities and other community savings groups work better.

Why ACH exists

People already save together, and they have done so for generations. The community savings model works. What can be harder than it should be is managing it — records spread across notebooks, spreadsheets, chat threads, payment receipts, phone calls and memory.

ACH exists to build better infrastructure around the way communities already save. The community isn't the problem. The tools around it need to catch up.

What ACH is, and is not

  • ACH is a digital platform and infrastructure for community savings.
  • ACH serves communities that participate in community savings — including cooperative savings communities as part of that broader ecosystem.
  • ACH is not a cooperative or a cooperative society.
  • ACH is not a bank, and does not provide banking, lending or insurance.

Our approach

We start with people

The community is not the product. The community is the reason for the product.

We build carefully

We would rather describe less and be accurate than promise more than we have built.

We work in African context

ACH is rooted in the realities of the communities it serves, beginning in Nigeria.

Work with ACH

ACH is a Quandex company. If you coordinate a community savings group, save with one, or lead an organisation working alongside these communities, we would like to hear from you.
