Coordinator Terms & Responsibilities

As a coordinator you represent and organise your group on ACH. These terms explain what that means in practice — and where your responsibility ends.

In short

  • Give accurate information about yourself and your group.
  • Exercise reasonable care when inviting or admitting people into your group.
  • Never present ACH as guaranteeing contributions or payouts.
  • Each member remains responsible for their own identity, conduct and obligations.
Information and representation
  • You are responsible for providing accurate information about the group, its structure and yourself.
  • You must not misrepresent ACH, your group or the platform to members or to anyone else.
  • You must not represent ACH as guaranteeing group contributions, payouts or the behaviour of members.
Membership decisions
  • Exercise reasonable care and due diligence when inviting or admitting people into your group.
  • Admitting a member is a group-level decision. ACH does not automatically guarantee the identity, honesty, financial capacity or conduct of anyone you invite.
  • You are responsible for exercising reasonable care in the information you provide, the administration of your group within ACH, and the membership decisions you make or approve through the platform.
  • Each individual member remains responsible for their own identity, representations, conduct and obligations. Using ACH does not automatically make you legally responsible for every private action of every member.
Legitimate use and compliance
  • Use ACH only for legitimate community and group savings purposes.
  • Cooperate with applicable identity verification (KYC), anti-money-laundering, fraud prevention and compliance processes where ACH is required to run them.
  • Do not use the platform to conceal fraudulent, criminal or unlawful activity.
  • Respect the rights of your members and the rules your group has agreed together.
Limits of coordinator authority
  • Your authority is the administrative authority the platform gives you inside your group: invitations, membership status, savings cycles, contribution periods and verification of declarations.
  • ACH does not receive, hold or move your group's money, and coordinator tools inside ACH are records — not transactions.
  • ACH may suspend group access or require additional review where there are reasonable security, fraud, compliance or platform integrity concerns.
Your acknowledgement
  • By continuing as a coordinator on ACH you confirm that you have read these responsibilities, that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you understand ACH provides digital infrastructure and does not guarantee the conduct or obligations of people within your group.
